Our History

2006

The Myspace era gave way to a new career for one Miss Alexa D'Agostino, the current founder and CEO of Black Rhino Solutions. Capitalizing on her passion and talent for HTML and CSS, Alexa began offering custom Myspace designs locally in Orange County, NY.

Just three states south, Stephanie Biscow, Black Rhino's current Business Operations Director, begins to get her feet wet in Media and Public Relations, working on various political campaigns in Silver Spring, MD.

2007

Alexa creates a space of her own, with the development of D'Agostino Freelance, a one-woman web design company in Westchester, NY.

2008

Paths cross and Stephanie teams up with Alexa, helping to expand and develop D'Agostino Freelance.

Together, Alexa and Stephanie develop a number of websites and graphic design packages for local companies throughout the Tri-State area. In response to a love of the job and increased demand, D'Agostino Freelance begins to evolve...

2009

Expansion brings new talent to the evolving freelance company. In 2009, Jermain Smith joins the team as the lead graphic designer, helping to establish the beginnings of Black Rhino Marketing. Working day and night, the team of entrepreneurs concentrate on developing their own brand, while servicing a growing client base.

The face of Black Rhino comes to life when the company establishes its first Rhino logo.

Black Rhino picks up their first international client.

A Black Rhino design takes a walk down the red carpet when, Padma Lakshmi hires the team to create the logo for her new non-profit organization, The Endometriosis Foundation of America.

Black Rhino signs GEESE OFF!, D'Agostino Hair, Aquest Fleet, The Harry Hoffman Fund, Follia Bridal, Financial Haze, Sun Series, Grannies Galoshes, & several other companies in and around the Westchester area.

2010

Black Rhino Marketing incorporates and becomes Black Rhino Solutions, Inc.

Karen Kuslansky(current Creative Director) and Tonia Duarte(current lead copy editor) join the team at Black Rhino.

Black Rhino establishes professional partnerships with Sky-Packets, MJBiz Marketing, and CRM Medical Billing.

Black Rhino produces over 25 websites and 50+ graphic designs for companies and organizations worldwide.

Black Rhino gets a face lift, drawing their second official Rhino logo.

Black Rhino signs Pure Terror, Trap Smart, Grand Prix, Organza-New York, Hydro One Premium Beverages, Sippin Syrup, Doctors Select, Grace Lutheran Church of Scarsdale, Creative Playtime of Scarsdale, Wine Masters, All Paws Aboard, Rhino Arms, Mike Baier Designs, & 15 other companies up and down the East Coast.

2011

Beau Mullis joins Black Rhino as the new Interactive Art Director.

Garry Roman joins Black Rhino as their dynamite SEO Specialist and Cyndi Mendoza joins as their Social Media Marketing Specialist.

Black Rhino hires 4 interns for their summer internship program!

Black Rhino signs Focus28 Diet, Diet.com, Joe Shopping, Corporate Biznis, American Internationl University, Renato Abella, The Alliance for Turf Grass Professionals, Tournament Express, Pace University, Tech Payout, Beauty Promotions, You Wanna Know, What Siri Says, and Umberto Bruno Calabro.

Black Rhino launches their newly redesigned website and once again changes it's logo!

Black Rhino continues to do work for over 30 of their previous customers.

Black Rhino partners with Corporate Biznis and Zen Web.
